We often looking for a chance outside of ourselves without even we realize that there are so many potencies and chances inside of ourselves. What we need to do is just realizing those things in ourselves.
Why others can do but I cannot do?! That’s the most questions that have been asking by people even my self was asking this question too in the past. If you are one of those people who has the same question then first what you can do is ask to your self what motivation that being based of your mind, are you do all these because of competition, being jealous, or something else.
Why others can do but I cannot do?! This question can make ourselves making a comparison “if others can do, why I cannot?!” Want to success like others; this challenge feeling is the one that can motivate us to be a better person than before. As like me, a simple example, when I am small I always think that my big sister always can do everything better than my self, until one day she said to me “Sis, you have your own world, your own path. You cannot be me and I cannot be you so just be yourself!” then I realize that she is right; I cannot always stand behind her shadow because I must stand by my self with my own competitive value in getting my success. That’s human, always got push if see someone else got success.
Why I cannot?! We need to response positively every challenges of life. Why we often feel that others can but you cannot? It is because of we inclined to compare ourselves with others who have different competence with ourselves. Why others can do but I cannot do?! It is because of we want to measure the capacity of ourselves, the curiosity toward our capacity make our curiosity comes to appear. If we can measure the capacity of ourselves usually we will feel confident. But one thing that we have to remember is different chance will have different outcomes.
As I said before that my sister and I have different competence and now I have realized the differences. Why I should realize the differences?! It is because that is what must be pressed in this case, the differences must be realized by us, if we never try to realize this differences then we incline to measure the ability or competence of someone else rather than measure our own ability or our own competence.
What about the solution? According to expert there are three ways; first, doesn’t just being curious but also do an action. Introspect your self and do a real prove in order to advance our selves. Planning and be brave and don’t doubt for trying to be like someone else that we think he is better, outcome of course would be different but at least we brave to do an action (as what I did I’m trying to do things that my sister has done). Second, find the excess of someone else and find out what they have paid for it, by knowing the excess and what they have paid we can more appreciate their excess and their sacrifice. Every successes is not come by itself, every skill is not became by itself both need effort and sacrifice and sometimes the value cannot be seen by others. Find the process; do not just see the outcomes, when we found the process and the things that had been sacrificed by success men we will know that we can do the same thing as he did. Third, always learn from the chance even may be we do not know is that good chance or not but only from this learning process we can learn how a success man taking a good chance and use that good chance. That what would be happen to us, we will find a good experience that can sharpen our ability, at least this is make us realize that we able to do all things that has been done by others if we willing to learn to get it.
Become more aware, learn from others’ successful will make ourselves become better, learn from others’ mistake will make ourselves become wiser!
